Michael Hickey, MD
Dr. Hickey is the Director of the Hinsdale Center for Reproduction. He received his undergraduate degree, a BS in Psychology, from Georgetown University. Dr. Hickey received his medical degree in 1984 from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. From 1984 to 1988, he returned to Georgetown University Medical Center, where he served as an intern and resident in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. During this time, he earned the Resident Research Award. From 1988 to 1990, he performed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California Medical Center. Dr. Hickey served as President of the National Society of Reproductive Endocrinology Fellows for the 1989 to 1990 term. Dr. Hickey is certified by and is an active fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Hickey is married and a father of three. When he is not at the office, you can find him on his sailboat.

Ann Bartlit Hickey, RN, MS
Ann has worked as a staff nurse and nurse manager in numerous labor and delivery settings, including Rush Medical Center, Prentice Women’s Hospital, Carle Foundation Hospital and Georgetown University Hospital. She has also served as a clinical instructor in labor and delivery for nursing students.
Ann is a certified childbirth educator and lactation consultant. She served as a Perinatal Education Coordinator in Los Angeles where she developed and implemented courses in prepared childbirth and breastfeeding.
Ann joined the staff of the Hinsdale Center for Reproduction in 1993 as Clinical Manager and staff nurse. She is the current President of the Hinsdale Hospital Medical Staff Auxiliary. She is married and has three children.

Sally A. Iannucci, RN, BSN
Sally began her career as a staff nurse at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois, in Critical Care, receiving certification as both as Advanced Cardiac Life Support Nurse and Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN). After years in an intensive care setting, Sally transferred to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department at St. Francis Hospital for a period of time, working with patients during their initial recovery period following open heart surgery as well as in their out-patient, Stage III, rehabilitation program. Marriage, family, and multiple relocations later, Sally returned to the field of nursing. Following the successful completion of a college based comprehensive nursing refresher course, she is ready for the challenges of an active clinical setting. Since joining HCR in the summer of 2011, Sally finds herself able to directly empathize with the couples seeking a successful pregnancy as was her experience personally when beginning her family. As an update, she now finds herself fully immersed in college applications and campus visits as the second of her two beautiful adopted daughters prepares for college.
Amy Shannon, RN
Amy joined HCR as a staff nurse in 2013 after a lengthy career in Human Resources. Amy’s past work experience include the Human Resources department at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. However, an internship at the Royal London Hospital working with critically ill children and their families sparked an interest in healthcare. She completed an Associate Degree in Nursing at the City Colleges of Chicago and is currently working toward a BSN. Amy is married, has three children.

Sue comes in during our IVF cycles to help out. We love her help!

Victoria started her insurance/medical billing career working in the Workers Compensation and Auto Liability division of the insurance world. After years of developing customer service departments for start up companies, she decided to broaden her area of expertise within a health care facility. Victoria then joined the staff of the Hinsdale Center for Reproduction in 2003 as Practice Manager.
Jessica Escamilla, ARDMS
Jessica has worked as a Medical Diagnostic Sonographer for the past eight years at the University of Chicago Medical Center. While there, she worked in the adult abdominal department where she conducted many specialized ultrasounds, as well as assisted in various procedures. She has also worked at Comer Children’s Hospital where she had the pleasure of working with the pediatric population. Jessica has her degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and is certified with the Association of Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography. She enjoys working out in her spare time and is married with 2 children.
Linsey Carli, RDMS
Linsey joined HCR as a Sonographer in 2015 after going back to school for a second career. Her previous experience in a laboratory made for a great transition to the HCR lab as she has recently been trained for all laboratory duties at HCR. Her past experience in Ultrasound include a hospital setting and OB/Gyne office. After having her first child, she decided to go back to school for Sonography for a better work/life balance and found HCR to be a perfect place for her. Linsey has a degree in Biology as well as a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Linsey is married with two children. When Linsey is not at HCR, you can find her spending time with her family or teaching group fitness classes. Julie Ashcraft, RDMS
Julie has been a member of the HCR family since 2009. She began as receptionist while completing her Diagnostic Medical Sonography degree. Upon completion, she began her career as an ultrasound technologist, specialized in Abdomen and OB/Gyne. She is currently prepping for her vascular sonography board and her LPN licensure, while hoping to complete her nursing degree by the end of 2018. At that point, she hopes to become a member of our nursing staff as well as maintain her role as a sonographer. She has two children and enjoys the work/ parent balance that HCR provides her.
Lisa Ray, MS ELD/TS (ABB)
As Lab Director, Lisa Ray brings 19 years of Reproductive Physiology experience with 17 years in Human IVF. Since obtaining her Masters from the Southern Illinois University, she has focused her career on helping infertile couples achieve their dream of having a baby. Lisa also directs top rated programs in Virginia Beach, VA and Birmingham, AL. Lisa is certified in Andrology and Embryology by the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) as an Embryology Laboratory Director (ELD), she is a “hands-on” embryologist fully trained in all aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technology including Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Assisted Zona Hatching (AZH), embryo culture, embryo and sperm and egg freezing (vitrification), and embryo biopsy for pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD). She is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART).
Rachel Watterson, MS TS(ABB)
Rachel Watterson has gained experience in embryology & IVF in a wide range of environments. Rachel was first introduced to the field of embryology in high school, and thereafter attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earning a BS in Animal Sciences, with a focus on animal reproduction. Following undergraduate studies and having developed a deep interest in the field, she worked as a Medical Assistant at Dr. Miller’s office for two years. At that time, she began pursuit of a Masters Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Embryology and Andrology with the Jones Institute of Reproductive Medicine. After completing her graduate studies, Rachel accepted an opportunity with IVFAustralia in Sydney, where she was able to learn various techniques and obtain experience with new equipment. She has since returned back to the Chicago, IL area and has recently completed her certification as a Technical Supervisor by the American Board of Bioanalysts. Rachel is a “hands-on” embryologist fully trained in all aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technology including Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Assisted Zona Hatching (AZH), embryo culture, embryo and sperm and egg freezing (vitrification), and embryo biopsy for pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD).
Rosanna Desanti, TS (ABB)
Rosanna DeSanti received a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1990. Her career in reproductive science spans 15 years. During that time she has held positions as a medical technologist, andrologist and embryologist. Rosanna is certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) as a technical supervisor in both andrology and embryology. She is also a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). Rosanna’s research interests include pre-implantation genetics (PGD). Rosanna is a “hands-on” embryologist fully trained in all aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technology including Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Assisted Zona Hatching (AZH), embryo culture, embryo and sperm and egg freezing (vitrification), and embryo biopsy for pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD).
