Kelly is 30 years old with a history
of endometriosis. Her treatment included a Laparoscopy in
1996; she had a second Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy in 2002.
She was undergoing treatment at various military installations
while her husband was in the military. They were frustrated
by 14 unsuccessful clomiphene cycles, and sought the care
of a specialist. At HCR, she had a cycle evaluation to assess
her ovulatory capacity, and then proceeded to her first IVF
cycle. After one IVF cycle, she delivered their son Kyle in
May 2004.

Tara is 29 years
old and had a history of irregular menses and ovulatory dysfunction.
She had a Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy in 2002. She was
also diagnosed with a thyroid condition. She had her first
IVF cycle in June of 2002 which was successful and she delivered
her son Chase in March of 2003.

Paula is 39 years
old. Her history includes major abdominal surgery to remove
fibroid tumors in May of 2001 and two IVF cycles at another
location. She was labeled a “poor responder.”
At HCR, Dr. Levin found a fibroid impacting the uterine cavity.
In March 2002, she had outpatient surgery to remove the fibroid.
She became pregnant on her first insemination cycle after
surgery. She delivered a healthy baby girl, Melanie, in December
2002.

Nicole is 29 years
old. She and her husband had been diagnosed with a severe
male factor. After “several” unsuccessful insemination
attempts, in February of 2003, she went through her first
IVF cycle with ICSI. The cycle was successful, and she delivered
twins, Mia and Elijah in October 2003.

Renate is 37 years
old. Before she came to HCR, she had a history of several
surgeries to correct a blocked fallopian tube. She also had
two unsuccessful prior IVF attempts elsewhere and was considered
a “poor responder.” Her physicians told her that
there was nothing more that they could do for her. At HCR,
Dr. Hickey suspected Human Growth Hormone Deficiency, which
was confirmed by dynamic testing of her pituitary gland. During
an ovulation induction cycle, Renate received human growth
hormone and gonadotropin injections. After one insemination
cycle, she was pregnant and delivered a baby girl, Sarah,
in July of 2003.
Jill
was 38 years old when she first met with Dr. Hickey. She
came to the office after three early pregnancy losses. After
reviewing HSG films and performing an ultrasound, Dr. Hickey
found abnormalities and decided that she needed surgery.
Jill was diagnosed with endometriosis, polyps and cysts.
Following surgery, Jill and her husband Tom did one cycle
of clomiphene treatment and then decided to proceed with
GN stimulation combined with IUI. Jill conceived during
her first cycle of GN treatment. She delivered her son Josh
in October of 2003.
Jill
and Tom returned to our office in April of 2005 to attempt
for another child. They decided to try GN/IUI again. Jill
conceived her third month of treatment. She delivered her
second son Ryan in May of 2006.

Jamie
is 34 years old. She came to the Hinsdale Center for Reproduction
after two early pregnancy losses. Following an HSG, Dr.
Hickey found some abnormalities and performed corrective
surgery. When Jamie and Kevin were ready, they returned
to the office to begin treatment. Jamie began clomiphene
treatment and conceived her first month. She delivered Aiden
in January 2006.

Heather first came to
HCR at the age of 27. After trying to conceive for two years,
and experiencing abnormal periods, she decided to see a
specialist. Heather began her initial evaluation cycle with
a small dose of clomiphene. She conceived her first month
and delivered her son PJ in April of 2004.
Heather
and her husband returned in 2005 to attempt for another
child. Initially Heather did clomiphene treatment combined
with IUI. She had two unsuccessful cycles and decided to
try GN/IUI. Heather did one cycle with injections and conceived
twins that month. She delivered her sons, James and Ryan
