Michael J. Hickey, M.D.
Michael J. Hickey, M.D. is Co-Director of the Hinsdale Center for Reproduction. He received his undergraduate degree, a B.S. in Psychology, from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. Dr. Hickey received his medical degree in 1984 from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. From 1984 to 1988, he returned to Georgetown University Medical Center, where he served as an Intern and Resident in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. While at Georgetown, he won the Resident Research Award.
From 1988 to 1990, he performed his Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Los Angeles County, University of Southern California Medical Center. He served as President of the national Society of Reproductive Endocrinology Fellows, 1989-90. Dr. Hickey is certified by, and is an active Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.
Both he and Dr. Levin have active surgical practices, specializing in laser laparoscopy to treat Endometriosis, and sophisticated endoscopy to repair congenital and acquired uterine and reproductive tract anomalies. He has special experience with and expertise in adhesion prevention following reproductive surgery. Dr. Hickey is married, and is the father of three.
