Infertility is one of the most stressful and difficult situations couples face. At the Hinsdale Center for Reproduction we strive to provide a genuine atmosphere of caring and hope for our patients. We recognize, however, that sometimes couples benefit from services which are beyond the scope of our day to day clinical practice. The Advanced Center for Mind Body Health offers counseling for individuals and couples. Other options include a Mind/Body packages that offer coping skills, relaxation techniques, nutrition, exercise, emotional expression, and social support.
Barb Fehrman, MA, LPC. Director:
Barb holds a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has done extensive research in the area of infertility counseling. She has trained with and received certification from Dr. Alice Domar, founder and director of the world-renowned Mind/Body Center for Women’s Health at Boston IVF. Once an infertility patient herself, Barb has as her goal to help patients feel whole again. She offers consultation, short-term, and long-term therapy.

Dr. Ziemer is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice. She specializes in the emotional and spiritual aspects of female and male infertility, reproductive health psychology throughout the life span, and has helped hundreds of adults journey through acute and chronic medical illness.
